Proverbs, a New York City native, has been writing poetry since her early teens and started ministering in spoken word in July of 2009. Named for the Book of Wise sayings in the Bible, she seeks to bring salvation, deliverance, and healing through her words and her passion for Scripture and the arts.

Proverbs has been featured at open mics, worship services, and other events around the country, like P4CM’s Lyricist Lounge 3 in Los Angeles, CA, Mouth Off in Oakland, CA and the We Got Next Movement in Boston, MA. God has allowed her the opportunity to publish Confess and Believe, her first collection of poetry and proverbial sayings this winter.
